Japan 500 years ago, the age of great generals - a bitter battle for power is raging throughout the country. Powerful princes, the Daimyos, want to secure supremacy in the 5 regions of Japan with the aid of their troops and extend their empire.
To succeed, a player will need not only to control as many provinces as possible, but also to develop his realm by building castles, temples, and theaters. The player who manages to build the most buildings in each of the 5 regions will be rewarded with valuable bonus points.
The most successful Daimyo at the end of the game will become SHOGUN.
Battles are executed through an innovative system known as the Cube Tower. Cubes representing players' armies are thrown into the Tower, and the battle's result is determined by the number of cubes that roll out from the Tower's bottom. Some cubes remain precariously within the Tower, only to emerge in later battles and potentially tip the balance of a fight into a surprise outcome!
